Description:

This ride completes the tour of the best bits of Banff, several of which were missed with my "Banff Just the Best Bits" ride and some of which were not even included in the full enchilada ride for advanced "espresso" cyclists in late May.

Highlights include the viewpoint of Banff and the Bow Valley from the Norquay viewpoint, Sulpher Mountain, Banff Springs, and optional short side-trips to Cascade Ponds and Bow Falls (which are not shown on the map).

There will be a tailgate party after the ride in the parking lot.

Safety:

traffic on shared roads; narrow shoulders

we are in bear country, consider carrying bear spray

limited cell service in some areas

steep sections on some roadways
