May Day Climb then downhill, Adv, 50km, 604m, ChrisLaurel

May Day Climb !!

This route is said to be one of the longer climbs in the city -- too bad there are two stoplights. We start by heading up Edworthy and then we keep going up. Next we check out the new route down 85th to connect with Springbank. (This information is from google earth that shows all new road but it doesn't yet show on RideWithGPS. Worst case scenario we backtrack a little, but I doubt we'll have to do so.) Once on Springbank we find a couple more climbs and a couple of short out and back tails. 

Advanced. We will ride on roads for the most part. 604m elevation. We will regroup periodically.

Meet: Angels Cafe, Edworthy, River side (where the bench and bike rack is, near their deck overlooking the Bow River.) 

Wheels rolling 1:00 sharp.
