Join us for early season conditioning in Springbank! Tuesday Tuneup is a weekly interval training workout to kick start your season.

We will stay on more sheltered roads and have fun on some hills. Your legs will thank you later -- whether you're getting ready for the Golden Triangle, summer Fondos, or Bill's Klimb a Kilo event.

April weather can be unpredictable -- rides will go ahead if it's warm enough with safe conditions, i.e., not too cold, snowy, icy, wet, etc.

This week's hill: Huggard Road (5-6 laps) - each lap starts at the SW corner by the recreation centre. Start each lap at 6/10 effort, then gradually increase your intensity up to 10/10 as you go round the loop. Active recovery on the downhill heading west.

Parking spot is the Eden Brook Funeral Home, off Lower Springbank Road. 24223 Township Rd 242, Calgary, AB T3Z 3K2 (see route map for exact location).

Newcomers welcome. There will be good company and a social atmosphere.

Note, sunset is about 9 p.m. We will be back before dark!
