Pace: 25-27 kph group riding, generally staying together throughout the day

Elevation Gain: 1200 m

Trying to avoid the busiest roads during a long weekend -- I thought South Side of Highwood Pass might be quieter than other mountain destinations. AND wouldn't it be great to go there when it's not covered in snow? We shall see! 

To extend the ride a bit, we are starting from the Highwood River day use area, shown on map.
