For The 2024 Canola Fields Fondo!

Ride and Apres-ride Social 

Enjoy the vast golden canola fields of rural Alberta. Routes include road rides of various distances and levels. Please choose from one of the following rides:

1) Canola Fields: Madden-Jackville Loop, 35km, Easy, Garry

2) Canola Fields: Madden-Dogpound-Jackville Loop, 47km, Easy, Stan

3) Canola Fields: Madden-Jackville-Carstairs-Wescott, 75km, Int, Celia

4) Canola Fields: Madden-Water Valley-Cremona, 74km, Int, Sal

5) Canola Fields: Metric Century, 111km, Int, Tanya C

Meeting place/parking:  All rides begin and end at Madden Community Centre. We explored starting at Bottrel's general store this year, but the area lacked suitable routes and, most importantly, blooming canola fields.

Apres-ride social: Join us after the ride for social at the Madden Golf Club patio. Bring your own or purchase refreshments and snacks at the Club House.

What if the weather is bad? The event will be rescheduled for July 27th.
