Description:  This ride ascends the highest paved road in Canada from the South winter gate -- the route is fully closed to cars until June 15. Tailgate social after the ride. Please come prepared with clothing for mountain weather conditions. We will be gaining significant elevation -- even on a nice day, it will be colder higher up and the long descent can be very chilly. 

Parking: Start from Highwood House junction on Highway 541, West of Longview. Park on the side of the highway not at the General Store.

MEET AT THE GATE - there may be a crowd
