Coordinators:  Ken Parent, Doug McCulloch

Distance: 62 km

Elevation Gain:  664 m

A unique opportunity to cycle this scenic route with no traffic..  Don't forget your park pass or buy a day pass at the park gates.

We can park at Fenlands Recreation Centre or the train station but will meet to start at Fenlands where there are facilities.

Picnic lunch at Castle junction where drinks and washrooms are available.  As this is an out and back ride, people may choose to turn around at an earlier point but as bears are often spotted, all riders should ride in small groups at the very least.

Some outhouses along route are open, some closed.

NOTE:  This ride is aimed at those of us who are usually "Urbaan Riders" thus the pace will be fairly slow.  There are some long climbs though making it more of an intermediate ride.  The 1A highway to Johnson Canyon is closed to vehicle traffic till the end of June.
