Bottomlands to Chestermere Return

Welcome to a great day of weather and Spring!

On pathways and a section of road. We expect the pathways to be ice-free. There may be a slight detour near the pathway as it arrives in Chestermere that could require a short walk through the grass on a designated detour. If things look dampish, we may not go around the lake, but we'll see when we get there. 

Coordinator: Chris and Laurel

Distance: 66 km

Wheels rolling at 1:00 sharp. 

Pace: 25-30 kph on flats with no wind. Mostly flat with a very short climb. Advanced and Intermediate due to pace. We will ride as a group for the most part, although some people get a bit of horse-fever in the last kilometer before the break. :)

Elevation Gain: 300m but feels less.

E-Bikes allowed:  No, due to the possible walking of the bike.

We will take a coffee break in Chestermere. 

Meeting place/parking:  Bottomlands park parking area, north side, either in the little section by the path or next to the ball park. 

Route: 60k mostly flat, steady pace. Fun ride.
