Horse Creek to Water Valley 80 Km

Distance: 80 km

Elevation: 700 m

Rating: Intermediate to Advanced - 702m elevation gain. One Tough climb on way back  (and a bunch of smaller ones too).

Just announced - Water Valley General Store is closing after Labour Day. This is where we will take our lunch break, I suggest you bring some snacks or food for our rest stop.  But they do sell a limited selection of snacks, plenty of cold beverages and ice cream. Mmm, ice cream. 

Route - meet  at Mountain Ridge Plaza in Cochrane . Intersection of Hwy 1a and Horse Creek Road. Wheels hit the road at 10:00 am so be there 15 minutes early (9:45 am)  to prepare for departure.

Must have a road bike in good working order. Must be able to at least fix a flat tire.

Some of us will be heading to Half-Hitch patio for post ride food and beverages.
